 The Canadian Perinatal Network (CPN)
CPN has been funded for infrastructure by CIHR (NICE Team Grant) to establish
a national database to study the major antecedents of perinatal
morbidity and mortality. Initially the focus will be on pregnancies
where delivery occurred before thirty weeks’ gestation following
spontaneous preterm labour, preterm prelabour rupture of the
membranes, intrauterine fetal growth restriction, and gestational
hypertension. A funding application will be made to CIHR in
March 2004 to allow for further development of the database
and network. Dr. Robert Liston is the Directing Physician and
Jennifer Claydon is the Coordinator for this network. If you
